Functional fitness specialists, Jordan Fitness have recently signed a sponsorship deal with boxing's hot prospect, Jordan Gill.
Jordan has won the British Junior ABA Boxing Championships on May 12th 2012. His 42-24 points triumph over Razaq Najib marks the dazzling end of the 17-year-old’s amateur career, as he prepares to turn professional in July.
Gill, will follow in the footsteps of his idol Prince Naseem Hamed by training at Sheffield’s prestigious Ingle Boxing Gym. Established by Brendan Ingle, who was awarded an MBE in 1998 for his contribution to British boxing, and his sons Dominic and John, Ingle Boxing has also produced Herol ‘Bomber’ Graham and Junior Witter. The Ingles spotted the professional boxer potential in Gill after seeing him spar as a 12 year old.
Emma Gosling, Managing Director at Jordan Fitness said, “Huge congratulations to Jordan Gill on winning the British title! He already has 14 years of boxing experience and has an extremely promising career ahead of him. Jordan Fitness is delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor Jordan with his training at Ingle Boxing. We were impressed by Jordan’s boxing abilities, his unshakeable focus and drive, and also his outstanding academic accomplishments. He will make a great ambassador for Jordan Fitness and a fantastic role model for young boxing enthusiasts”.
